Today Paddy called up and asked if we wanted to do a last-minute picnic. How could we turn that down? We did a drive-by at Subway, then escorted her energetic and hysterically funny kids to the nearby skatepark. Matt had to prove he could still do a forward roll and come up standing. Pretty good, considering his last roll was 7 years ago at age 40! As he said, the cerebellum is an amazing thing. We nearly convinced him to borrow Tommy's skateboard and hit the half-pipe, but sanity reigned supreme for once.
PS: Interview today went ok, we'll know in a week! *crossed fingers*

I more admire his courage for doing it in a kilt.
