Matt and I were walking on Sauvie and found two dead voles. They were extremely soft and plush-looking. It was driving Matt crazy that we couldn't touch them. We conducted some basic forensics to determine the cause of death (no visible injuries), but, lacking the proper equipment to complete our investigation, pressed on in our hike. It was a wonderful moment in our joint geekdom. To provide a reminder, and the opportunity to touch a swollen vole, I made this for my sweetie. Oh, and that's Thoth modelling a baby hat I made for a post-partum classmate.
